Heart chakra Pendant with Labradorite & Green Kyanite

This piece was from a series I did where I chose complimenting stones and colours to make chakra themed pendants with focused meditations in mind. Green relates to Anahata also known as the Heart Chakra. It is from this place that we find our compassion for others as well as harness love for ourselves. Mantras for this chakra are “I am open to love” or “All love resides within me.”
This pendant comes on an adjustable chord.

Each piece that I make is made with the idea of combining the metaphysical properties of these spiritually healing crystals with aesthetically pleasing symbolism in the form of wearable art. I strive to make a jewellery line that is as flexible and stylish as it is fun. Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence. The stone, usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, or coppery red.
Wearing or carrying Labradorite allows one's innate magical powers to surface. Green Kyanite specifically helps us to look deep within the heart.  It eliminates heart blockages and expands your awareness of the love for humans from the devic, angelic and elemental realms. In the hearts of others this can help us see see what truly motivates them, to understand their true intentions and helps view who they are beneath the surface. For this reason It has become very useful for practices involving therapists and psychic readers. Unlike other stones which often absorb negative energy and require regular cleansing, kyanite works to repel negative energy and therefor does not require regular cleansing*.

*personally I have found that even though they do not require cleansing, it is still good to give them a rest once in a while or have a couple that you can swap out.
