This dragonfly shirt is one of our Tiny Handz insect designs. This was done. This shirt was dyed using a special muck ice dye technique and close up shots show the intricacies in the dye splits and runs exclusive to this process. It's the melting of the ice cubes on pigment which gives this unique water-colour effect.

All Tie Dyes are made using 100% cotton and Procion MX dyes. everything is set for 24 hours (some are assisted with heat as i live in a cooler climate than some dyers) before being hand washed and heat soaked to assure little to no future colour bleed. For best colour last, as with most companies, we suggest washing on cold with like colours, hang to dry when possible. And if you are busy like me than you may like to hear that personally i have washed hot, mix my laundry and to date, have had no issues.
